i wasn't too excited to see the Oscar nominated film, "I'm not there," chronicling Bob Dylan's life. i often get that way when a book i adore gets turned into a movie, so i felt similarly about seeing the life of one of my all-time favorite musicians turned into a film. Point being, i LOVED it.i highly recommend it, just so long as you don't mind the non-linear plot.

the many faces of Bob Dylan or, "jack, jude, billy, robbie or woody"
i'll end with some dylan:
Nobody feels any pain
Tonight as I stand inside the rain
Ev'rybody knows
That Baby's got new clothes
But lately I see her ribbons and her bows
Have fallen from her curls.
She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl.
